Attic

During the last couple of months progress has been slow. We started off at a great speed but it seems to have slowed to a trickle. With holidays and trying to get workmen in at a weekend it's been frustrating as one job holds up another. But here goes - this is where we are today;

Loft conversion: fully skimmed and bathroom tiled. It has suddenly transformed from a dusty attic to chill out bedroom! With new skylights and bathroom nearly finished its looking good. The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball (my new passion) 'cornforth white' and the wood work in pure white. It's well worth the spend as the finish is lovely - a really subtle powder grey but with a warm feel. Still debating on painted floorboards or carpet? Just got to finish off the bathroom and then it's down to the nice part of choosing the lighting and bedding.
